The Challenge
Firework needed user acquisition at scale for a short-form video platform entering a market dominated by TikTok. Traditional paid acquisition was expensive and undifferentiated. They needed organic reach that felt native to the platforms they were competing on.
The Approach
Meme culture supercut strategy. Instead of polished brand content that screams "advertisement," we created content that lived natively in the meme ecosystem. Influencer partnerships built around authentic meme formats, not scripted endorsements.
The strategy prioritized shareability over brand mentions. Content that people actually want to send to friends performs better than content that checks marketing boxes.
